Rob Percival "From Teaching to Business"
Rob Percival began his career as a Maths teacher before making the transition into online education, quickly becoming one of the most popular coding instructors in the world. Today, more than 2.5 million students have enrolled in his programming courses, helping them gain practical digital skills and launch careers in technology.
Rob has achieved two seven-figure exits in the edtech sector, building and scaling online learning businesses that have reached a global audience. He is currently leading LearnAnything.com, an innovative venture focused on democratising personalised tuition through AI, enabling learners to access tailored education at scale.
In his talk, Rob will share the realities of moving from a structured 9-to-5 (or rather 8-to-3:30) teaching career into entrepreneurship, reflecting on both the opportunities and challenges of building startups. He will explore the lessons learned from scaling digital products, navigating uncertainty, and finding balance while pursuing ambitious ventures.
